In cooperation with Deutsches Elektro-Synchrotron (DESY), one of the world’s top particle accelerator facilities, we created a virtual journey through our universe. From cosmic galaxies to the smallest unit of an atom, players can explore the fundamental forces that bind us, in virtual reality.

At the heart of the installation is a real portal with a virtual counterpart in the digital world. Step through it to discover how our very own universe is full of wonders. Complex relationships of time, size, and space are translated into a simple, easy to understand way.
The Gate is a fully-3D immersive world built with industry grade tools. In consultation with the scientists of DESY, we bring real-life knowledge into an accessible story that can be shared with up to four players at a time.
